Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• New Product Development as per the APQP methodology.
• Define Right Process Flow along with CFT for Proto and Mass production @ Supplier
• Communicate CFT requirements to Supplier
• Identify the Facilities, tools, and Gauges which ensures all drawing requirements are met
• Perform Supplier selection process like RFQ, Quote analysis, Tool cost estimation, Supplier on board
• Proto part Quote Settlement/development
• Ensure the timeline and delivery of components are met as per project milestones
• Packaging design, validation and implementation
• Capital & Revenue PR & PO release
• Supplier Capital Payment release management
• Supplier product and process audit.
• Contribute to CFT on problem-solving and concern resolution
• Scheduling and inventory management of RM, child parts etc @ Supplier till SOP
• Capacity & R@R Establishment
• Tooling Agreement Tracking & Closure
• PPAP and PTR readiness evaluation
• New Supplier Assessment
• Develop & drive VAVE proposals till implementation
• Investment budget preparation
• Drive change management during development and in SOP
• Participation in various CFT, including Change management and project meetings
• Enhance the competencies of the supplier by providing technical assistance to the supplier, including training, counselling, guiding, etc.
• Prepare MIS as per the plan
• Develop synergy within/outside the department & with the supplier.
• Adhereto QMS requirements

Job Requirements

Experience (years)

Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience from the Automobile industry on Engine, Casting (Al & GCI), Machining, Precise Machining, Special Processes, Pipes, Rubber as a Development Engineer

Industry Preferred

Qualification

BE preferably in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engg from reputed College.Throughout First Class in academics
