Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Pune

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will work at Agiliad’s location and participate in various mechanical design and related activities. The role involves coordination with offshore manufacturing vendors, communication with customers, collaboration with internal teams (Embedded & Hardware), reviewing deliverables, and status reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CAD modeling and drafting, and manage other CAD-related projects.
- Develop concepts and execute mechanical design activities.
- Review and update drawings based on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
- Ensure the successful integration of mechanical design elements into the overall system.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors for procurement and manufacturing of electronic packaging enclosures.
Qualifications/ Must have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of Industrial experience
- Proficiency in CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Strong skills in MS Office and other productivity tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clarity and articulation.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Good to have Experience:
- Knowledge about DFM requirements for Sheet Metal and Plastics.
- Basic Knowledge and know how the GD&T system.
- Certifications: CSWA/CSWP (SolidWorks)
