What we expect

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct design verification using tools and processes such as FEA, DFMEA, Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR).
• Participate in the Testing & Qualification (T&Q) process to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and validation reports.
• Provide regular updates in global cluster meetings on project status and technical progress.
• Lead the development of new parts/products for elevator control systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Validate designs during prototype, pre-series, and pilot phases in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers for product development and qualification.
• Conduct site visits to elevator installations for testing, troubleshooting, and field support.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and product development.
• Experience in designing sheet metal and structural components.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including welding and fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools (preferably SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Windchill PLM is a plus.
• Knowledge of design automation and error-proofing techniques.
• Good understanding of material properties and their application in engineering design.
